This is our story of promoting STEM education

At the Meyeni STEM Foundation, we are a passionate group of young professionals dedicated to making a difference in the field of STEM education. Our team consists of individuals from diverse backgrounds—engineers, scientists, educators, and innovators—who share a common goal: to empower the next generation of girls in Ghana to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

We believe in the power of mentorship and community engagement, and we are committed to “paying it forward” by sharing our knowledge and experiences with young women. Through our initiatives, we strive to inspire and equip girls with the skills and confidence they need to excel in STEM fields. Together, we are building a supportive network that fosters inclusivity, innovation, and leadership among future female leaders in Ghana.

Our initiatives are grouped based on research to ensure maximum benefits for each target group.

SAVANNAH FOR STEM(S4S)

An initiative promoting STEM education in the five regions of the Savannah sector (Northern, Savannah, North-East, Upper East, Upper West). We engage local communities through tailored educational programs that spark interest in STEM fields.

SHE CAN STEM

Focused on promoting STEM education among girls in other regions (south) of Ghana. This program includes workshops, mentorship, and scholarships aimed at inspiring young women to pursue careers in STEM.
